Pagani Geotechnical Equipment

We produce Geotechnical, Geophysical and Environmental Research machinery and accessories which are able to satisfy all In-Situ Geotechnical Testing requirements.

As well as thirty years of experience in the design and manufacture of penetrometers, we are a leader in technological research in our sector, thanks in part to permanent partnerships with Universities and Research Centres.

We design and manufacture our penetrometers both in Italy and abroad in order to meet the most complex requirements and guarantee ever greater quality for our end products.

Our Plant

We carry out our activities in a plant of around 5,000 square metres in an industrial area to the west of Piacenza, in northern Italy.

Our goals

  • 1978: Pagani Geotechnical Equipment is founded.
  • 1979: the first automatic dynamic penetrometer prototype is developed, meeting international standards.
  • 1980 – 1981: new combined “DP Dynamic” and “CPT Static” penetrometer.
  • 1982: TG 73-200 6×6 self-propelled penetrometer with telescopic anchoring.
  • 1990: piezocone with cable for CPTU tests.
  • 1991: TG 63-100 static-dynamic self-propelled penetrometer.
  • 1996: new CPTU digital piezocone.
  • 1999: TG 63-150/200 static-dynamic self-propelled penetrometer.
  • 2000: SCPTU seismic digital piezocone.
  • 2001: TG 73-200 tracked self-propelled penetrometer and P250 coring probe.
  • 2002: ESM 12-35 environmental sampling probe.
  • 2003: ESM 12-180 environmental sampling probe.
  • 2007: environmental sampling probe with laser system.
  • 2008: 10- to 25-tonne tracked self-propelled penetrometer with ballast.
