CPTu Tests

Using a piezocone (electric probe) has significantly improved the data obtained in static testing both in terms of measurement precision and data sampling frequency.
Pagani piezocones indeed allow the acquisition, during the continuous driving movement, of the Qc (bit resistance) and Fs (side friction) values at each centimetre of depth compared to the 20 centimetres which can be obtained with mechanical cone (Begemann).

The system also acquires the u value (hydrostatic pore pressure), Tilt (the angle of the set of rods) and the dissipation time (time measured between measurement of the overpressure obtained during the driving stage and the pressure measured when releasing the driving pressure).

CPT-AS acquisition system

CPT-AS is an acquisition system capable of acquiring CPTu, via easy and fast steps.

Provided with an intuitive monitor touch-screen, it does not require the aid of a portable PC and it can be easily installed on the nachine on site.

The collected data can be downloaded via a simple USB key.
